The pool is said to have been very busy at the time it was found. The “Leipziger Volkszeitung” writes: “Several eyewitnesses reported that the swimming pool was full. Normal swimming was difficult under these conditions.”
At around 6:30 p.m., the child was suddenly discovered floating lifeless in the pool, bathers immediately began resuscitation.
