The Russians vacationing in the Crimea, faced with an outbreak of rotavirus infection, which literally decimated the tourists. Hospitals in some cities are already overcrowded, but the number of severe cases continues to grow.

It is reported MK.RU. The publication notes that rotavirus infection is typical for Russian resorts, infection occurs in hot weather because of the muddy sea, which drained the sewage without proper treatment.

Intestinal infection every summer ruining people’s vacation. At the peak season in July and August due to high temperature seawater bacteria, trapped in a sea of sewage, rapidly begin to multiply and infect more people. In 2020, due to the large influx of tourists particularly in Sevastopol, Alushta, Feodosia and Koktebel, and in many cities and towns of the black sea coast the number of cases has increased dramatically.

Usually, the peak of rotavirus disease in the Crimea is at the beginning of August. However, this year because of the hot weather in early July, cases of mass infection had begun earlier, — stated in the material.

Earlier NEWS.ru reported that after a visit to Feodosia at the Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation Natalia Poklonskaya “had a desire” for a few days to come to the city to riot and restore order. According to her, the town is the jewel of the Peninsula and the famous sights and unique nature. But today, this city just to survive and forced to endure such outrages as the emission of sewage into the sea, the construction of the coastal strip, the landfill.
