Åge Hareide has on the way out the door, sent a greeting to the Danish fans, who are encouraged to continue to support.

Åge Hareide has stood on the sidelines as the Danish national coach for the last time after the postponement of the european championship finals this summer, and now he sends a greeting to the Danish fans.

In a video on the herrelandsholdets facebook page and thank him for the aid which he urges fans to continue with.

– Continue to support the Denmark national team and the (future national coach, ed.) Kasper Hjulmands job.

– It is very, very important to me, that it here can continue, and that Denmark can bite away at the next tournament, says the Norwegian.

Åge Hareide began as the Danish national coach in the spring of 2016, and he stood at the head of Denmark in 42 matches, of which he only suffered three defeats.

Hareide ends in the middle of an impressive streak, where he had been in charge of Denmark in 34 games in a row as undefeated.

From the defeat to Montenegro in October 2016 until the sudden sentence, lost Denmark are not in the regular playing time with Norwegian on the sidelines.

A bitter defeat in the penalty shootout against Croatia in the WORLD cup-ottendedelsfinalen is included in the streak at 34 matches.

His last game for Denmark was thus 1-1 draw in Ireland, which gave Denmark a ticket to the european championship finals, which is now to be played in the summer of 2021.
