Legendary filmmaker David Lynch posted on his own YouTube channel “Theater of David Lynch” your ten-minute animated film “Fire”. About the film and his backstory says Andrei Plakhov.The viewer of this animated short film gets to the theater, reminiscent of the old rides type of shadow theater. Man with long gnarled hands, like the stump, lights the fire and gives vent to the imagination. Through the various holes — from tiny round holes to large holes — we look for miracles in the burning universe. The fire engulfed the house and the tree, gray-white space fills up wriggling worms and like spiders or grasshoppers deer, white head, drops of tears falling from the top of the round black stones…David Lynch, though he made the famous story, even commercial films from the relic breed pure visionaries. He creates alternate worlds that are more real than reality itself. A read through his mystical mysteries and revelations. But when Lynch asked what meaning he put in one or another episode, in a movie, he says, the movie image can not utter words, the movie itself is the most adequate language for dreams and phantasms.
