In the IMAGE-Live-show “Corona News”, answered the foreign Minister, Heiko Maas (53) IMAGE-Vice-Paul Ronzheimer (34) on current issues to the Corona-crisis.
The SPD politicians spoke about the global tense Situation and the empty-swept market for protective clothing and masks.
Maas appealed to the international community: It was now important “to cooperate in addition to national measures but also international”.
And: “We need individual components, devices, protective equipment produce, which are supplied from abroad. Other supplies need to maintain production. And I think that you have to manage.“
The result was a battle or even a war to protective equipment, respirators or masks. “And I think this is one of the biggest challenges for the international community of States, which we have now. If we can’t do this, I believe, be the end all, but to suffer all, including have (…).“
