President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has declared that a pandemic of the novel coronavirus will be a lesson for people with addictions. This was reported on the website of the President.

This statement of the Belarusian President made at a meeting dedicated to Amnesty those convicted of drug trafficking.

“For drug addicts and merchants is a good lesson. We see this in severe pneumonia cases. And pneumonia, aggravated by a coronavirus,” – said Lukashenko.

According to him, people with addictions should think how to organize your life after the “so-called pandemic”.

Previously, the newspaper Corriere della Sera suggested that a high mortality rate of coronavirus in Italy, among other things, associated with “pulmonary status” of the Italians. Among severe patients were many smokers.

As reported by “the Rambler”, according to the latest data, in Belarus recorded 3728 infected with a coronavirus, 203 of them recovered, 36 died.
