Borussia Mönchengladbach still hasn’t registered any new signings – but that should change now. A Dutch central defender should solve the transfer backlog of Borussia.

First signing for BMG? Central defender Riechedly Bazoer from the Dutch first division club Vitesse Arnhem is probably at the top of Borussia Mönchengladbach’s wish list. According to “Bild”, the defensive man could soon solve the Gladbach transfer backlog and be the first new signing under the new foal trainer Daniel Farke.

Short, compact, clear

Dutchman for free: The 25-year-old Bazoer could also switch to the Lower Rhine free of charge, because the 25-year-old’s contract is expiring. However, what could become a problem: In addition to Borussia, Bundesliga competitor VfB Stuttgart is also interested.

Waiting for newcomers: The promise that Fohlen manager Roland Virkus once made to Gladbach fans still has to be kept: “Nobody has to worry about us. We will have a very, very good squad on the pitch for the new season.”
