Four cars collided in the intersection area. A complex technical rescue using hydraulic rescue equipment and a winch was needed to free two trapped people from their vehicles. One Person died at the scene. Five other people were treated by the Kiel ambulance service and surrounding hospitals.
In the use of the Rüstzug the main fire station, the North station and the Volunteer fire brigade search the village, and other forces of the rescue service with a total of 42 forces.
