Family of George Floyd, who died in consequence of their detention in Minneapolis, has filed a lawsuit against the city authorities.
As reported by CNBC, is also the lawsuit filed against four police officers involved in the arrest.
The family claims that officials and the city authorities violated the constitutional rights of Floyd.
On 5 July, the court released on bail Tu Tao — one of the police officers accused of the death of George Floyd.
Floyd died in late may, shortly after his detention by the police. One of a group of police officers held him, pinning his neck with his knee.
Police officer Derek Savino was charged with second-degree.
