J’ai Feng and Déserteur are offering a fondue and sake event on Sunday.

Chef Anita Feng will introduce adventurous taste buds to Szechuan hot pot, very meaty and known to be aromatic and spicy. A milder broth and a vegetarian version are also offered. The company specializing in the tasting and representation of wine and sake will take care of washing it all down with a high-quality artisanal rice drink.

There will be a first service from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., then a second at 6 p.m. The meal takes place in the dining room of the restaurant Mui Mui (149, rue Jean-Talon O., Montreal).

The fondue being a convivial meal, one must reserve for two or, even better, for four people. Price is $149 per person, which includes food, welcome sake, and carafe (for two) or bottle (for four) while eating.
