Employees of the animal shelter Varjupaikade MTÜ in Estonian told in social networks the amazing story of the red Kota-traveller named Ludwig.
Adult and skinny cat in the beginning of 2020 appeared in the yard of one of houses of Estonia, võrumaa. It started to feed one elderly woman, but in the spring she became very ill and was in the hospital. Worrying for the cat, she asked for help from the local government. They took a hobo off the street and sent him to the local shelter.

Thanks to the chip, the volunteers learned the name of the cat, its age and the owner’s contact information. It turned out that the animal name is Ludwig, and he’s already 13 years old. Contact the phone number owner, at the shelter found out that, actually, the cat had another owner. They were able to find his contact, and then told him the good news.
the Real owner of the cat was very surprised. It turned out that Ludwig ran away from home 3 years ago. It looked for a few months, but to no avail. The family was sure that the animal is in trouble, and therefore made peace with his loss. Later they moved to a new place of residence.
According to the shelter staff, the owner came over Ludwig in half an hour and was very excited. He took a thin traveler’s home and expressed the hope that after all the adventures the cat over appreciate home coziness, warmth and delicious food.
