On Sunday evening at 7.15 p.m. the time has come: The first round of the DFB Cup for the coming 2022/23 season will be drawn in the German Football Museum in Dortmund. A total of 64 teams compete. They are divided into the 18 Bundesliga clubs and the 14 best-placed second division clubs from the previous season.
The other 32 teams end up in the “amateur pot” and hope for the big prize. The former Dortmund professional Kevin Großkreutz acts as the lottery fee.
