In a long exclusive report, Vanity Fair magazine broadcasts the first images of the next film by Quebecer Denis Villeneuve, Dune: Part Two.

Scheduled for November 3, the second part – because it is not a sequel according to the director since the action resumes immediately at the end of the first part – still stars Timothée Chalamet in the role of Paul Atreides.

Zendaya’s role will be more important in Part Two as a love story between her character, Chani, and Paul emerges. “It was fun to work out how these futuristic space people court each other,” the actress from the most recent Spider-Man trilogy said in an interview.

Villeneuve said that despite the scope of his film, “the epicenter of the story is this relationship”.

He also praised the performances of the actors, including newcomers to the adventure: Florence Pugh, Austin Butler and Léa Seydoux.

The Quebecer is currently working on the sound and special effects of Dune: Part Two, and time is running out. “It’s hard for me to talk about a movie when I’m doing it. It’s like asking a hockey player to explain how he’s going to score as he skates towards the net, “he concludes to end the interview.
