The Lord Mayor of Frankfurt makes various missteps during the European Cup celebration of Eintracht. Now it’s enough for Eintracht, the mayor is threatened with consequences.

Stadium ban: “There will be no basis between Eintracht Frankfurt and him in the future. I can’t imagine that Peter Feldmann is still welcome at our games in the stadium,” says Eintracht spokesman Axel Hellmann to “Bild” about the broken relationship between the club and Frankfurt’s mayor Peter Feldmann.

The reason for this: The OB underwent some embarrassment at the European Cup celebration. Among other things, he took the trophy from coach Oliver Glasner and captain Sebastian Rode on the Römer – and wanted to present it himself. Hellmann: “The players and coaches present the pot to the people. Anything else is vanity or narcissism.”

Delegation scandal: now more embarrassments are known. According to “Bild”, Feldmann absolutely wanted to be part of the final delegation in Seville, but Eintracht registered three other political representatives. According to “Bild”, Feldmann then wanted to “issue an order” to prevent one of the representatives. After that he wanted to take part in the team’s victory parade, but this was prevented. In addition, there was already a quarrel between Hellmann and Feldmann in West Ham because of his desire to be at the forefront of Eintracht’s Euro successes.
