A young woman in Florida is caught having sex on a public pier on a holiday afternoon. When the police arrive, they don’t hesitate for long.
A 20-year-old woman and her 23-year-old boyfriend were seen having sex on a public pier in Florida around 4:30 p.m. on Memorial Day afternoon, the New York Post reported.
An eyewitness told police that she and her four children, ages seven to 15, were enjoying the beach near the pier when they noticed the woman and her companion naked in the public place. The children asked what the two were doing. The woman called the police. When officers arrived, the two were still active, according to the NYP.
The 20-year-old quickly got dressed again, ignored the police officers’ request to stay where she was, ran to the edge of the pier and jumped into the water. However, her escape attempt was unsuccessful – she was picked up by the beach patrol when she reached the shore.
According to the New York Post, the couple was charged with trespassing and causing a public nuisance. The woman was also charged with resisting arrest without violence. Both were arrested the same day and released on bail.
Not only public sex, but also collecting shells on the beach can be expensive: Because her children collected a few shells in the sand, a mother received a fine for 81,000 euros.
