The driver was “catapulted through the windshield” upon impact. A doctor who was among the first responders cared for him until the emergency services and the rescue helicopter arrived. The man suffered several fractures and internal injuries, with which he was flown to a Munich hospital. However, his life is not in danger, it was said.
