A nationwide vote on the law on the amendment to the Constitution passed in conditions of unprecedented pressure from abroad. This was stated by member of the Central electoral Commission of Russia Alexander Klyukin during meeting of the temporary Commission of the Federation Council for the protection of state sovereignty and prevent interference in the internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

A nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution ended on the territory of Russia at 21:00 MSK on July 1. Amendments to the Constitution supported 77,92% of voters voted against of 21.27%, according to data of the CEC, after processing 100% of protocols.
