(London) Tom Wilkinson, a British actor well known for his roles in The Full Monty, Michael Clayton and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, has died aged 75, his family has announced.
According to a statement shared by his agent on behalf of the family, the actor died suddenly at his home on Saturday. No further details were given.
Wilkinson was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in the drama In the Bedroom in 2001. Six years later, he received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for the drama Starring Michael Clayton. George Clooney.
