The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky asked his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko to Kiev pass to the combatants in the Donbass, said after the interview with the head of Belarus Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon.

“He (Lukashenka – approx. OPINION) said Zelensky asked me to give Ukraine those who participated in the fighting in the Donbas against Ukraine, including Ukrainians,” said Gordon in an interview to radio Svaboda.

The Belarusian President promised to give the “green light” to law enforcement agencies to provide “extradition of criminals” in Russia and Ukraine, said the journalist.

Gordon added that Lukashenko during the meeting with him “looked very good” and “very well spoken”.

“the Interview turned out unexpectedly resonant, bold, interesting. He announced a series of sensational facts. His handshake is strong,” he described the conversation Gordon.

The journalist also vowed Lukashenko, which he demonstrated in an interview.

“I was pleasantly inspired by the determination of President Lukashenko to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of their country. This is not enough Ukraine when Russia stole the Crimea (as Gordon calls the reunification of the Crimea with Russia in a referendum, the majority of which called for a return to Russia – approx. OPINION). I was very curious to hear what Lukashenka said: if Russia or another country would encroach on the territorial integrity of Belarus, he will fight for their country until the last,” said Gordon.

Also Gordon described Lukashenko as “a symbol of the era”, which has “become part of history.”

Recall, Gordon recorded an interview with Lukashenka in the Palace, which in 2015 held talks “Norman format” and had reached “the Minsk agreement”.

Gordon is known for his anti-Russian statements, statements about the welfare of Soviet citizens in the victory of Adolf Hitler, etc.

It is worth noting that Kiev requested Minsk to extradite detained in Belarus Russians who are in Ukraine according to Ukrainian citizens. Belarus has transferred to Ukraine the list of detainees. The Kremlin said that Moscow does not recognize the Ukrainian nationality of the detainees in Belarus, the citizens of Russia.
