After a three-year-old boy starved to death in Austria, murder investigations have been launched against the parents. As the police announced on Wednesday, the authorities and emergency services were informed on Monday of the little boy’s death in the Tyrolean district of Kufstein on the border with Bavaria.
“According to the preliminary autopsy results, the child died due to severe malnutrition,” the police said. The arrest of the 26 and 25 year old parents was ordered. The couple’s three other children, aged one, three and six, were placed in the care of child and youth welfare services.
