the high alert was imposed in the capital in early March. Temporarily closed educational institutions, entertainment facilities, beauty salons, cafes and restaurants. All the capital’s residents, regardless of age, should stay home. Now the situation is changing rapidly: for example, more recently, hospital beds occupied 10 thousand people with the coronavirus, and today is already 17 thousand. In total in hospitals there are 24 thousand beds, which can accept patients with COVID-19 or suspected infection. If necessary, the city will be able to quickly deploy three thousand beds. In addition, at major medical centers are built prefabricated housing for follow-up care of patients.

“in addition, large shopping centers, sports complexes, at ENEA we selected facilities to deploy temporary hospitals. This, too, is a difficult task, and not today. We do this with an eye on the two, three, four weeks ahead,” added the Mayor.
