A group of astronauts threw a pizza party on board the International Space Station (ISS). This is reported by the publication India Today with reference to the video of the French cosmonaut Thomas Pesquet.
In the video, the station crew prepares pizza in zero gravity: the ingredients float in the air, and the whole team has to hold them to finish the process. After that, the astronauts had a party, where everyone ate a cooked dish together.
“An evening with flying pizza with friends on a spaceship is almost like a Saturday on earth,” Peske wrote in the caption to the video.
The video on the astronaut’s Instagram went viral and gained more than 150 thousand likes.
Earlier it was reported that an experiment on growing a sample of human tissue will begin on the ISS.
