Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD), Economics Minister Robert Habeck (Greens) and Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP) may announce on Thursday around 2 p.m. what solution the government partners have agreed on in detail.

So far, the financing in particular has been highly controversial. According to the “Handelsblatt” and “Spiegel”, the gas price cap may cost between 150 and 200 billion euros.
