Korean Air’s flight KE632 was scheduled to take travelers from Mactan-Cebu International Airport in the Philippines to Seoul in around four hours on Sunday. But it did not get to that. At 11:30 p.m., the Airbus A330-300 took off from the gate and taxied onto the runway.

At the time of the start run, pouring rain was falling in Cebu. And that obviously causes problems for the cockpit staff. For reasons that are not clear, the Airbus A330 with the registration number HL7525 ran off the runway.

Pictures from the scene of the accident show him sticking his tail up in the air, the nose gear seems to have collapsed. The passengers were evacuated via the emergency slides. Korean Air confirmed the accident.

Nothing happened to any of the occupants, the airline said. There were eleven crew members and 162 passengers on board.
