Bernard Émond’s new film Une femme respectable will have its world premiere at the 40th Munich Filmfest.

The screening of the feature film will take place on June 28 in the presence of the director of La Neuvaine and actress Hélène Florent.

Scripted from a short story by Luigi Pirandello, Une femme respectable, whose action takes place in Trois-Rivières in the 1930s, tells the story of a woman separated from her husband who takes him home after the death of his concubine. Now a father, the man brings with him his three daughters.

Paul Savoie, Brigitte Lafleur and Normand Canac-Marquis are also part of the cast of this film which will be released in Quebec on August 18.
