Crimea is not in need of recognition in Western countries

The Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation of the Crimea region Michael Sheremet said that Crimea does not need the recognition of the European Union, which is not able to perceive the current international situation.

Earlier, the European external action service (the diplomatic service) of the European Union on its official website issued a statement, which notes that "the EU does not recognize and will not recognize illegal annexation" of the Crimea and expects that Russia will cease all violations of international law in the Crimean Peninsula. The EU also expressed support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders, and condemned the call by the Crimean people in the ranks of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation.

"Crimea became part of Russia in 1783, when the United States was not even the Constitution, and the Union of European States into the Union even thought no one had. So Crimea is not in need of recognition in Western countries, which are not able to perceive the current international situation. Urge you not to interfere in the internal Affairs of another state, making a different kind of inappropriate Declaration", – told RIA Novosti Sheremet.

According to him, European countries are now facing global challenges and instead establish friendly relations with Russia, which always comes to the rescue in difficult times, they continue their irresponsible and devil-may-care attitude to its people politics.
