Russian parliamentarian Vladimir Zhirinovsky has expressed solidarity with protesters in Belarus and detained journalists there.

The leader of the liberal Democrats stressed that the current President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has lost the trust of his people, and predicted to him the fate of ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. He said this in his microblog.
