LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky, speaking at the close of the spring session of the state Duma, called to build for the lower house of the new building due to the fact that the current complex Okhotny Ryad is in poor condition and does not meet the needs of deputies.
"we Have Mr Volodin [Volodin] – one of the best chairmen of the state Duma. Let’s help him to still appeal to the President, well build you a new building", – said Zhirinovsky.
According to him, the Foundation of the present building has turned into sand. In addition, some members now share offices with their assistants.
"to Build a normal building that the Deputy was sitting, and 2 m around nothing. Good office for visitors, rest room, toilet, kitchen", – said the leader of the liberal democratic party.
In his opinion, such a building could be built for 1.5 years.
In April of this year, the Deputy speaker of the lower chamber Anastasia Kashevarova said that the renovation of the building of the state Duma postponed "better times", provided it 700 million rubles will be redirected to other purposes. The building has not been repaired for 30 years, last year the Foundation was discovered emptiness.
It is planned that reconstruction of the building should relate to the meeting room and some other rooms.
