Archbishop of Kharkiv and Poltava of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (PCU) Athanasius of skorupi called a traitor President Vladimir Zelensky due to the introduction in the Donbass indefinite truce, according to “Ukrainian news”.
According to the Archbishop, in the spring of 2019 he wants to sing:
“Look at the sight and thought I wonder: why I’m not a sniper, why aren’t you shooting?”. This feeling arose because of a “terrible betrayal Zelensky and of the armed forces, which they had done in Minsk, and today brought to life”, said skorupi.
Zelensky has put himself outside the law and betrayed Ukraine and the leadership of the armed forces has betrayed the troops, continued the priest. He urged citizens not to be silent so as not to cover themselves “shame surrenders”.
“Henchmen of Putin — the court of the people’s anger!” — concluded the Archbishop.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate welcomed the establishment of an indefinite ceasefire and called on the faithful to pray that it “marked the beginning of a complete cessation of the war in the East of Ukraine.”
