Former “Prince Charming” contestant Dominic Smith is dead. As his dating show competitor and close friend Martin Angelo announced, Smith is said to have died at the age of just 33. Angelo shared a picture together on his Instagram story and wrote: “I’m writing this with tears in my eyes and it breaks my heart because I just can’t believe our paths will never cross again.”

Although the contact has fallen asleep recently, the two have “a very special friendship”, says Angelo. It continues: “I just don’t have the words to really describe what I really feel. But what I can say is that I wish from the bottom of my heart that you can find peace where you are now.”

The then “Prince Charming”, Nicolas Puschmann, also addressed emotional words to his Instagram subscribers. After showing a picture of a candle against a black background in his story on Tuesday evening, the 31-year-old explained: “It’s just a silent sympathy because I just heard that a person I had the privilege of getting to know more deeply has passed away is. The news just caught me a bit by surprise. I just wanted to send the light up and hope the person finds peace now. Keep the fire burning!” Smith made it to the final of the dating show in 2019, but Puschmann ultimately chose Smith’s competitor Lars Tönsfeuerborn.

After taking part in the RTL show “Couple Challenge” in 2020, Smith withdrew from the public eye. Most recently, the Berliner reported to his fans on Instagram in early June. In one post he took his almost 30,000 followers to a trip to the beach and wrote: “A little sign of life and lots of love, send your Dominic.” Smith had previously announced that he wanted to take a break from social media.

Attitudes towards work also change over the generations. Much to the chagrin of Europapark boss Mack, who is currently desperately looking for workers for his amusement park. He cannot understand the work ethic of the younger generation, which is geared towards balance and little stress.

Will Vladimir Putin have a new title soon? A Russian party proposes to stop calling Putin “president”. The criticism: the title is too western. Instead, the term “Pravitel” should be used.

In view of the gas crisis, the German Association of Cities recommended forward-looking measures. Cities and municipalities should think about heat halls and heat islands for the winter. In Rhineland-Palatinate, for example, this is already being done.
