June 10, husband of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, will celebrate his 99th birthday, but despite the beautiful date, it’s shaping up to be modest. It is expected that Philip will celebrate with a dinner with the Queen at Windsor castle, where the pair isolated with a minimum number of workers since the outbreak of the coronavirus in March. The chefs promise to please the birthday boy his favorite black truffles.Members of the Royal family will send their congratulations to the Duke of Edinburgh through video chat. As it was in other Royal birthdays which took place in the period of the pandemic, that is, the grandchildren of Prince Philippe, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Archie. After 64 years of Royal service, Philip retired in 2017 for health reasons.
