Nobody expected this reason: Robert Lewandowski apparently never wanted to switch to the Premier League because of the many rainy days in England. At least that’s what his ex-agent claims.

Don’t feel like going to England because of the weather? In the midst of the transfer rumors surrounding Robert Lewandowski, his ex-adviser Cezary Kucharski is now chatting with “Sport1” about the Bayern striker. According to Kucharski, the Poland international never considered a move to the Premier League because it rains so often in England. “Why not England? That was also an issue at the time. I always heard Robert give an infantile explanation that it rains so often in England. That’s what he said to me.”

Short, compact, clear

Real reason for Lewandowski but another? However, Kucharski sees the real reason elsewhere. “He thought he couldn’t be as effective as in Germany. Robert was really afraid of that. According to his own statements, the striker would now like to switch to FC Barcelona. Bayern, however, don’t want to let him go before the end of his contract next year.

Wife never wanted to go to Paris – now? Should the move to Barcelona not work out, Paris should be an alternative. Kucharski comments on the rumors about PSG’s interest in transferring: “I wasn’t allowed to negotiate with PSG at the time because Robert’s wife didn’t want to go to Paris. Maybe that’s changed now.”
