China does not recognize the Russian Crimea because of possible adverse consequences, says sinologist, Professor RUDN Alexander Vinogradov.
According to Vinogradov, the official recognition of the Crimea Russia will create Beijing a lot of problems. In addition, the country still has a Communist party decision not to join unions or alliances, adopted in 1982.
“For inner China is a hot topic right now. It is extremely relevant. But I think the main reason is that China has not found it possible to create many other problems. Moreover, there are territorial border disputes China has with India, Japan and so on, this is a complex problem,” said Vinogradov, RIA “Novosti”.
