Representatives of 24 EU countries protested the United States over Washington’s plans to impose new sanctions in respect of the pipeline “Nord stream-2”. This information on Thursday extended the German newspaper Welt.
According to him, a note of protest to the European delegation thanked the U.S. Department of state during the teleconference held on August 12. He said concern about the frequent cases of use or threat of sanctions from Washington against European companies, including on the project “Nord stream-2”.
