It is against 13.45 o’clock, on Wednesday in the Canton of Bern police Department, the message was received, that in Wattenwil, a serious accident happened.

According to the first findings was a man (73) with a front dumper – a Dumper – the reason Bach road coming to the Bruchweg on-the-go, as the vehicle fell in a forest to the left of the roadway and down a steep slope and crashed.

The 73-Year-old was thrown from the Dumper and remained injured on a slope several meters below the road.

The injured had to be subsequently rescued by the rescue forces from the rugged terrain, and a helicopter of the Rega to the hospital to be flown. There is, finally, serious injuries were noted. The Canton of Bern police Department has started investigations into the accident. The Dumper was recovered by a towing service with the help of the fire brigade from the steep terrain. (jmh)
