Russian President Vladimir Putin wrote an article about the events of the Second world war. This was reported by press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.

Earlier, Putin announced the intention to write such an article, answering the question of “RG” in a press conference.

“Yes, the President wrote an article,” – said Peskov, quoted by TASS.

On the question of whether the material is to be published before Victory day parade, which will take place on 24 June, a Kremlin spokesman said: “we Expect it to decide on the date of publication.”
