Belarusian riot police began to storm the entrances of apartment houses on the Avenue Rokossovskogo Minsk. It is reported by Sputnik of Belarus, reports RIA Novosti.

Earlier, the Parliament of Belarus justified the use of violence by security forces to disperse protests in Belarus. Mass protests began in Belarus in the presidential election day, 9 August. Later they escalated into clashes with riot police. The protests were caused by a disagreement with the official results of the presidential elections which incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko, according to the CEC, has gained more than 80 percent of the vote.
