Ukraine will celebrate Victory Day

Ukraine does not intend to celebrate Victory Day on may 9, said the Minister of foreign Affairs Square Vadim pristayko in interview to TV channel “Ukraine is 24”. According to him, Kiev’s position remains unchanged, so to celebrate may 9 Ukraine is not going.

“We, like the entire European continent, 75 years old, and ready to understand why the tragedy occurred, and willing each other to forgive. We believe that this way should be a celebration,” explained Pristayko.

Earlier, the Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that Moscow would send the Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky an invitation to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war.
