Immigration and customs enforcement, the United States announced a temporary ban on foreign students who are entirely taught online in American universities, to stay on the territory of the country.

According to the Ministry, temporary rules have been adopted because of the pandemic coronavirus and apply for the fall semester only for the specified category of students who have visa categories F-1 and M-1.

"Students with no immigration status in the United States is not permitted to undergo a full course of study through online classes. If students find themselves in such a situation, they must leave the country or take alternative steps to maintain your non-immigrant status, such as changing course or to provide appropriate hospital", – explain in Department.
