The British triathlete Alistair Brownlee, double olympic champion, on Friday in the press office of the PA declared in his career, in the sprinttriatlon at a time.

Brownlee wanted to be in after the Olympic Games in Tokyo to make the transition to the longer distances. He then, however, now well into 2021 to participate in the sprinttriatlon in the Japanese capital. The 31-year-old Briton won gold in London in 2012 and Rio de Janeiro (2016).

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) decided on Wednesday to take the Olympic Games, which were originally scheduled between July 24 and August 9, and, at the latest, by the summer of 2021.
