Twitter plans to warn about misleading posts

Twitter is going to flag messages containing misinformation and be deceptive, misleading.

Broadcaster NBC reported that it possesses documents, which referred to the revised approach to “deceptive” messages on Twitter.

This publication will be marked with bright red or orange marking, which would alert the readers of the publication that this “tweet” did not meet the standards of a social network, as it contains misinformation, reports TASS.

According to some, this measure could enter into force on 5 March this year.
