In the Europa League final against Glasgow Rangers, Jens Petter Hauge came on as a substitute in the 70th minute and helped Frankfurt Eintracht achieve the triumph. The Hessians have now firmly tied the Norwegian to themselves.

Hauge stays: Europa League winner Eintracht Frankfurt has exercised its purchase option and committed offensive player Jens Petter Hauge. The 22-year-old now has a contract until 2026, as the Bundesliga club announced on Saturday.

Players on loan from Milan: Hauge moved from AC Milan to Frankfurt on loan for a season last summer. The offensive player played 38 games last season and scored three goals.

Price above market value: The market value of the right wing is currently eight million euros, but according to information from “Transfermarkt.de” Eintracht has to invest twelve million for the permanent commitment of Hauge. This makes the Norwegian the second most expensive player in the club’s history – after Luka Jovic, who came to Frankfurt for 22 million euros.
