Turkish company invests 7 billion rubles in Kaluga production of toilet paper

Kaluga oblast has long been known to investors — the region has not a single foreign manufacture. Soon there will be one more investor — the Turkish company Hayat has announced plans to invest 7.1 billion rubles in the construction of a new plant in Kaluga.

Hayat will build a plant in Kaluga worth 7.1 billion rubles for the annual production of 210 thousand tons of toilet paper, napkins, paper towels. The plant will start operating at the end of 2021.

the New plant in Kaluga will allow the Turkish company to become a leader in the Russian market of sanitary-hygienic products.

Turkish company operating in Russia in 2015 after the launch of the new plant the amount of investment in the Russian economy will reach 20 billion rubles. In 2015, the company opened the first in Tatarstan Hayat Kimya plant worth 600 million dollars for the production of hygiene products, toilet paper in the amount of 140 thousand tons every year.
