WASHINGTON, may 19. /TASS/. the United States is sending to other countries, devices of artificial ventilation of lungs (IVL) to save lives, not for political reasons. This was stated on Tuesday at the White house, U.S. President Donald trump.
“No, I’m not trying [to use] this diplomatically. I’m doing this to save lives,” said the American leader, responding to a question about whether he intends to use those supplies to strengthen relations and reduce China’s influence in different parts of the world.
“If we can save lives in other countries, it is a good thing. We only seek to save lives, he continued. — It may well from the diplomatic point of view, but it is not the goal. There are countries that do not have equipment and capabilities to produce them. We send hundreds, even thousands of machines.”
