The President of the United States Donald trump met with families of Americans who died at the hands of the police, the press Secretary of the President Kaylee Makineni.

"It was a very important, very emotional meeting. For the President it was a chance to catch up with these families and hear from them the painful, tragic and deeply personal stories about how they lost their children — in most cases children, some with siblings," said Makineni.

"there Were a lot of tears and emotion, the President was deeply saddened… he took it as something very personal," she said.

According to Makinano, the US President told her that he intends to help these families.

In the United States in late may-early June, there were mass protests and riots in connection with the death at the hands of police of African-American George Floyd.
