US President, Donald trump declared that the country would withdraw from the Treaty on open skies, told the AFP news Agency.

According to Reuters, the us leader said that he has good relations with Russia, but it does not adhere to the contract.

The Treaty on open skies was signed in 1992 and became one of the measures for strengthening confidence in Europe after the cold war. It has been operating since 2002 and allows the participating countries to openly gather information about military forces and activities of each other. The agreement was signed by 34 States.

The U.S. and Russia have accused each other of violations of the agreement. Thus in the Russian foreign Ministry said that Washington is accusing Moscow of violating obligations, deliberately silent about their own problems with the execution of the document.
