Trump has decided to share the ventilator with Iran

The US President has declared readiness to send to Iran devices of artificial ventilation of lungs (IVL) in helping with the spread of the coronavirus. He said this on Saturday, April 18, at the briefing in the White house, reports TASS.

The American leader spoke about the thousands of the ventilator in inventory. “When I took office, Iran was ready to gain control over the whole Middle East. Now they are thinking about how to survive — they have each week protests, a huge burden of the plague [coronavirus], and I would prefer that it was not” — he explained.

According to trump, Tehran needs the help of Washington, which he is willing to provide in the case of treatment.

Earlier, a similar initiative was made by U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo. In response to the proposals of the White house, Iran has indicated the need to remove sanctions in order to assist.

April 16, the U.S. President announced about the readiness to send ventilators in Russia. According to the American leader, Moscow is now in a difficult situation. The Russian foreign Ministry offer trump called a manifestation of a responsible approach. The corresponding Russian services will deal with this issue, if need be.
