The President of the United States Donald trump considers daily briefings to combat coronavirus as a waste of time and blamed the journalists. About this he wrote on Twitter.
According to him, the media only asking hostile questions and then refuse to accurately report the truth and facts. “They are getting record ratings, and the Americans get nothing but fake news. Not worth the time and effort!”, — wrote trump.
Previously, trump has criticized journalists for their coverage of the situation with coronavirus: in his opinion, the American media publish false information. He stated this during a briefing at the White house.
As of 25 April, the largest number of cases registered in the United States — more than 924 thousand people. In the three countries most affected by the coronavirus, also includes Spain (more than 223 thousand cases of infection) and Italy (over 195 thousand infected).
