The President of the United States Donald trump extended for another year regime of unilateral sanctions against the DPRK. This is stated in a statement on Wednesday, the press service of the White house.
We are talking about the extension of the so-called state of emergency against Pyongyang, which maintains restrictions on the basis of a number of presidential decrees signed in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Washington then adopted measures were aimed at preventing the spread of Pyongyang’s weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery.
"the Risks of nuclear proliferation on the Korean Peninsula and the actions and policies of the government of the DPRK continued to pose a threat to national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States. In this regard, I extend for one year the national emergency with respect to North Korea", – quotes the press-service of the word trump.
