As explained in the Department, prepares to launch a single system, which can be used remotely to detect the disease at early stages in patients residing even in the remote areas of the country, as well as prescribe treatment and monitor its dynamics. The system was developed in 2019 under the guidance of leading experts of national medical research centers.

“In the case of active technology development, the appearance of the devices allows you to remotely monitor a patient, telemedicine will be able to more actively integrate into the medical aid”, – reported in the Ministry of health. Noted that completely abandon full-time collaboration with the patient and the medic is impossible.

In an interview “RG” the expert of the Russian society of clinical Oncology Ilya Timofeev stressed that in some regions of Russia, teleoncology has already received the development. And sometimes its capabilities are bordering on fiction. For example, it is possible to remotely determine the histological type of tumor. That is in the lab preparing a special cut that is digitized and high resolution at the level of the microscope to be loaded to a cloud server, so that it could explore other professionals that are, for example, in another city.

Also, according to the expert, the layout of the malignancy very soon it will be possible to do without a doctor. He explained that before the irradiation of the tumor around the planned loop, which then gets radiation therapy. Robot program using computer tomography itself will indicate contour. Such development is already there, said Timofeev. Besides, in the near future will be available to robotic operations.

“Today, robots are already doing them with a doctor’s help when the hands of intelligent machines repeat the movement of the joystick by the surgeon. But today, robots operate on the animals with a precision that is inaccessible to man,” – said the expert.

He also emphasized that telemedicine has expanded the geography of medical consultations, which are now often conducted online.
